Louisiana Mural ProjectThe organization was incorporated in July 2000. Seven murals were completed in the first three years. At the present time, there are over 20 murals erected.

Louisiana Missouri is located on the banks of the Mississippi River 70 miles north of St. Louis on Route 79 and about 30 miles south of Hannibal, Missouri. Louisiana’s first settler John Bryson built the first residence in 1817 and 1818 sold some land to Samuel Caldwell and Joel Shaw, this area became the original plat of Louisiana which was mainly river-front property. >>click to read more

Saint Louis University's Lay Center for Education and the Arts is a 350-acre property located here in historic Louisiana, Missouri. A well-maintained path takes guests on a 40-minute walk through a working Maple Grove, the McElwee Cemetery and most importantly a plethora of sculpture.
