May 28th - Louisiana Area Historical Museum opens for 2008 season. Hours M-F 1 to 4, Sat. 10 to 1. June 19th-22nd - Chautauqua sponsord by the Pike County Joint Museums Association. For information call Doris Green: 573.754.6774 or Martha Sue Smith: 573.754.4443 July 4th - The Twin Pike Family YMCA and City of Louisiana is co-sponsoring a 5K Relay Fun Run. Each team should have 1 runner at each leg of race. Pre-registration is June 19th.
